It's raining a steady, misting sort of rain outside. However, it could be pouring down rain or snowing a blizzard. I don't care.
Bonn and I voted about 2 weeks ago, the first weekend the local polling centers were open. Still, North Carolina has a very good chance of going for Obama in this election. Our county, and even our little area of the county, is said to be a key part of the entire state.
So we're hooking up with the local volunteer Obama "office" (run out of someone's home) and going around and knocking on doors for the afternoon, trying to get out the vote for Obama.
I can't knock on your door, but if I could, I would.
This is the most important election in our lifetime. It's time to take our country back, end this war, restore America's standing with its citizens and the world, to ensure a better future for us, for our children and our children's children.
It's time to vote like the future depends on it -- because it does.
No Excuses. If you haven't voted yet, get out there and do it!
