Three Bits o' Gratitude: LiveJournal UK Edition

1. New Brunette not only named himself based on a line from my favorite Billy Bragg song, but he gave Bonn and I a fantastic day in Cambridge back in '07. He was a wonderful host to a pair of gobsmacked Yanks.

2. Nalsa took us through his part of that Green and Pleasant Land in '08, driving us to Bonn's ancestral homeland of Studley Royal. He proved a wonderful host and most charming companion for the day.

3. I failed to mention to Bonn that New Brunette was going to be picking Vorno up as we drove through Cambridge. NB pulled over, Vorno jumped in the back of the car, and we sped off -- with Bonn completely taken off guard and Vorno being witty and funny. It was one of my favorite moments of the trip.
