Sundae, Early Evening

Hader, easily the most comfortable of the cats in front of a camera. I suspect he loves the attention.
I drove The Boy back down to UNC-Surf this afternoon. We talked for the first 20 minutes or so and then he wanted to take a nap. Can't say that I blamed him all that much; the drive isn't all that interesting and I usually take a short nap along the way if Bonn is driving.
While he slept I continued listening to Mildred Taylor's "The Land" on audio CD. It's been a great book and I've really enjoyed it.
[What do you say about an audio book that you've listened to all the way through? Do you say that you "read" the book? (Blind people put it that way when they finish their books on tape)]
Bonn stayed home to work on a catch for a bracelet we're making for a customer in Chapel Thrill. I cut the links for the chain and put the chains together yesterday afternoon, sitting on the back porch to spend some time outside and with the Bjornie dog and listening to another two discs of "The Land."
And as I write this, David's Memorial Service is about to get started in NJ. I've pretty much said my goodbyes and made my own peace with things.
Oh, and if you aren't a regular over at
