Can You Guess the Title of This Classic
Children's Book from the Brickified Cover?

A Big Tip o' the Hat goes out to Travis Jonker, Children's Librarian and author of the School Library Journal "100ScopesNotes" Blog. Today, his posting of "Name that LEGO Book Cover" was not only shamelessly copied by me on my occasionally remembered writer's blog but also prompted this, even more rare, LJ entry.

I'll invite you all to play along: go to Brickit and Brickify/LEGOify 5 of your favorite albums from Back in the Day and post them to your LJ (or FB or wherever) and post the URL in the comments here so I can see if I can figure them out.

I recognized Avalon, Tales from Topographic Oceans (which is amazing) and Hunky Dory. #2 seems familiar, but no clue on 5.

#5 was the intentionally Relatively Obscure album cover. It is still my favorite of the artist's albums but one that received little to no recognition. I found it in a used record shop back in the late 70s (with the original booklet included!) and instantly fell in love with it.

As for #2, I've found that taking a screen shot and looking at the icon on your desktop (well, Mac desktop, at least) makes a HUGE difference in recognizability.

You should take a look at the book covers. (Are you sure you don't recognize ANY of these albums? Really?)

I recognize Bowie, but none of those are albums I've had personally.
