
Maggie has two standard lines of thought: Getting her cream (half & half, really) at various times during the day, and Occupying My Lap. As I am the one who gives her that first tiny bowl of cream in the mornings, I am lucky to have two facets to my purpose in life. As Cream Dispenser I am known to be a bit stingy on the cream, but a dedicated dispenser none the less. As a Lap Provider, I tend to be prone to lower back aches and to be a bit willful, getting up at times when Maggie is not yet ready for me to remove my lap from her use.
Last weekend, when this was taken, I was making bangles. The weather was nice and I sat out back, providing a convenient lap for Maggie for most of the afternoon.
This weekend we're collecting all sorts of trash and moldy boxes out of the barn to move curbside for the yearly massive trash pickup. Late in the day I was pulling some boxes out and found some of my things from my old office where
