Conservators' Center Part I

Last year, at the retirement party for my favorite teaching colleague, I had a chance to catch up with one of my former students, Julia. Julia was now working two jobs, one in corporate america and the second as Fundraising Coordinator for Conservators' Center, a wildlife rescue and education facility about 90 minutes from Raleighwood. It sounded like an amazing place and she offered to take Bonn and I on a photographer's tour of the facility whenever we wanted to come up.
Bonn and I discussed it and decided it would be a good birthday present for our daughter and her fiance to accompany us. Julia was agreeable, so we picked a date in April and made the trip slightly northward.
No surprise: there are lots of animal pictures available if you ( click on through to the other side... )
